LISTERINE® Kids Content Guidelines

By submitting videos, comments and other content (“Content”), you agree that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Content Guidelines.

By submitting Content to this website you confirm that i) the Content you submit is original, ii) you have the legal right to submit the Content and are not violating the rights of any third parties in doing so, iii) you are of the age of majority or older in your province or territory of residence, and (iv) you are the person in the video and/or you are the parent or legal guardian of each person in your video who is under the age of majority at the time of submission.

By submitting Content to this website, you hereby grant to Johnson & Johnson Inc. (“J&J Inc.”) a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable license to use, refrain from using, remove, reproduce, modify, edit, copy, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, transmit, perform, display and otherwise use the Content, in whole or in part, worldwide in all manner and media whether now known or later developed. You hereby agree to provide waivers in favour of J&J Inc. with respect to any and all moral rights in the Content held by any individuals who may be authors of such Content. You also hereby acknowledge and agree that J&J Inc. may request that you provide personal information when you submit Content. J&J Inc. will only use such personal information (which may include your date of birth) internally for administration purposes related to displaying your Content. Your date of birth will be used to verify that you are of the age of majority and to create a unique identifier for administration purposes, and will not be displayed on the website. All Content will be reviewed by J&J Inc. prior to posting live to the website and, as determined by J&J Inc. in their sole discretion, may not be posted.

Content that contains any of the following will not be posted:

  • Any commercial solicitation or advertising
  • Any use of profanity, sexually graphic or offensive language or material, “off-color” material or similarly unacceptable language or material
  • False, misleading, deceptive or exaggerated comments regarding J&J Inc., any of its affiliates or any of their products, or regarding competitors or any of their products
  • Any harassing, threatening, derogatory, demeaning, defamatory, racist, abusive, hateful, violent or obscene language or material, or discriminatory language or material
  • Any reference to the personal identity of the participant (including but not limited to last name, e-mail address, phone number, age or geographical location) with the exception of the first name and last initial (unless permitted by the consent of such participant)
  • Any reference to personal information about others, including name or information that may be used to identify or locate another individual or that could otherwise be deemed to constitute invasion of another’s privacy
  • Any material that condones or incites violence, bullying or unlawful behaviour
  • Libel, slander or defamation of character of participant or non-participant
  • Any illegal statements, material or content
  • Any political content or propaganda
  • Any language that promotes drugs or alcohol, illegal or inappropriate activities or dangerous behavior or any material that may result in harm to anyone viewing the content
  • Content that violates J&J Inc. Credo values
  • Disclosure of trade secrets, confidential, non public, propriety or privileged information of J&J Inc. or its affiliates or of any other party, including information about a company’s internal structure (including organizational charts and who reports to whom)
  • Crude, vulgar or offensive pictures, depictions, images, language, gang signs and/or symbols
  • Gratuitous violence, gun or other imagery or gestures of weapons
  • Nudity
  • Hard liquor use or product images
  • Illegal drug or alcohol use or abuse
  • Website or web page links
  • Trespass or violation of other people’s rights or property
  • Off-label use of products of J&J Inc. affiliates or of any other party.
    Note: This includes content appearing to describe the use of a J&J Inc. product in a manner outside the scope of the approved indications or use appearing on its label, unsubstantiated claims or testimonials, claims lacking mandatory risk/fair balance information, disclosures and/or qualifiers.
  • Financial disclosures about J&J Inc. or its affiliates and predictions of future performance of the company or stock
  • Flooding, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, junk mail, etc.
  • Content attempting to impersonate client staff, medical personnel or other community members

You hereby agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless J&J Inc. and its affiliates, and each of their directors, officers, agents, contractors, partners, representatives and employees, from and against any loss, liability, threatened or actual claim, demand, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in connection with your breach of these Content Guidelines or in connection with the Content you submit. J&J Inc. reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you hereunder, and you shall cooperate as fully as reasonably required by J&J Inc.
